Kevin Rudd, elected as the new PM Empty Kevin Rudd, elected as the new PM

I saw a youtube video today about Kevin Rudd being interviewed on CCTV english channel.
I was stunned and amazed by his fluent Chinese when he was responding to the interviewer.
He gave me a very amiable, polite impression on the show, which inspired me a lot.

As Australia will soon be governed by a new party, I hope the new Rudd government would bring a new atmosphere to Australia's future, and turns a new page in Australia's history. One of the most impressive moves so far, is the change of the ministers. Kevin has selected a new governing team for the country, and this will surely make a significant difference to the course of the nation.

I started to admire the new PM, for the following reasons:
Firstly, he can speak fluent Chinese, and he also learnt a lot about the Chinese culture. I was told that he was major in Chinese when he was in Uni, and his daughter is married to an Australian Chinese from Hong Kong; whereas his sons are also learning Chinese, in the will of their father. Thus, with Kevin being the new PM, I am sure the relationship of China and Australia will come to a new era throughout the history. I am very happy to have a new PM that knows a lot about my mother country, China. In addition, not many politicians in the parliment house of Australia can master more than two languages, not to mention Chinese, one of the most difficult languages in the world. This to some extent reflects the intelligence and versatility of Mr Kevin Rudd.

Secondly, he seems to be a very friendly, ambitious man on the videos I saw, his speech was very well prepared, and he has demonstrated lots of confidence and faith while performing it. It seems like the man has lots of charistma and potentials. Would this be the new era of Australia while the Rudd government takes over? Let time be the testimony.
